Im really curious to know whether any British Cypriots feel that they have been accepted as Cypriots by GCs or TCs, perhaps this will shed some light to the mentalities!

It would be great if I could also hear the views of the locals too.

Well... I can tell the general picture from my old school..
In my secondary school, british cypriot students were always seen as trouble makers by both teachers and TC students. They used to be arrogant towards the teachers, every single day one of them used to cause trouble etc. Once one of them punched a litterature teacher (she was from Turkey) in the face in the middle of the class. They were also not befriended by all TCs as they were speaking "english" all the time even thought everybody they knew they could speak fluent turkish... They were just trying to be "cool" and some people used to get really annoyed at them.

Halil, Frank and Joan are not British Cypriots, they are a British couple who moved to north Cyprus a few years ago to share in the theft of Greek Cypriot property. They use the Akritas plan to justify their right to share in Greek booty. Frank appears to be interested in the good life, he is always telling you about his last meal and the old farts he hangs around with. He critisizes the GCs but is quite happy to go shopping in the south for things he can't buy in the north. They represent the worst in British ex-pats, living it up at someone elses expense. I hope if there is ever justice in this world they and their chums are kicked out of Cyprus just like the real owners of "their property" were in 1974.
