Its a straight uphill road, and if you stop your car and put it in neutral it will start rolling uphill. No one has been able to explain why so far. All my visitors which I have shown this to, have been amazed.

Interesting, so what happens on the way back? Does it roll up the hill backwards? :)

It sure does. :)

I've seen people trying all sorts of things, like trying a ball or pouring water in the street to see which way it will flow. Always uphill.

Also Deniz, I was told by a Belgian horticulturist that there is a type of orchid which can only be found in Cyprus and only in the Anglisides area. Nowhere else in the world. He comes every year to photograph them. Your village is famous!!!

Kafenes, Yes I know, because I am from there. No really, I do have a book on the "Orchids of Cyprus", but they dont give many clues as to where to find them. When I lived there I was only interested in the vineyards, artichokes, olives and carobs and last but not the least my favorite Aggrelli / Asparagus. Some of these rare orchids are so small they are almost invisible to the untrained eye.
Thanks anyway
Regards
DA
