I will take you there when you come over. It's a 5000 years old settlement and they have reconstructed next to the ruins the whole village as it stood once in exactly the way of building, including wooden hinges on doors.

That would be nice. Where about is it, I have to look it up on my new "Official" map of Cyprus. GR promised me one but with the excitement of meeting my wife it slippped his mind.

The circular houses remind me of the Khirokhitia excavation, which I last saw around 1958/59. They must have done much more work since. Ah,So little time and so much to do.

Such an interesting thread , sorry for my intrusion. Lemba village is a stones throw away from my village , Stroumbi , and I have never been there , will make a point of doing so on my next visit.

Yes, very similar to Khirokitia. Must have been the same developer.

I am not from Anglisides but from the very close Larnaca town. I remember my father used to go often to Anglisides for hunting, so you never know, we might be related.
