KYRGYZ MP ASLAN MALIYEV CALLS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION OF THE TRNC........ !!!!! .......??????
Kyrgyz MP Aslan Maliyev has called on the Kyrgyz Paliament to recognize the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Speaking at a Parliamentary session held on the Cyprus issue, he stressed the need for the European Union to keep its promises to the Turkish Cypriot People it gave following the Turkish Cypriot approval of the Annan Plan in the 2004 referendum.

The Kyrygyz MP Aslan Maliyev asked for the Parliament’s support for the international recognition of the TRNC.

Also speaking at the session, another MP Sadir Japarov, who is the Head of the Group for Friendly Relations with the TRNC, emphasized that Kyrgyzstan will continue supporting the Turkish Cypriot People.

When discussing whether TRNC will eventually be recognised or not (if GCs persist in economic embargoes/oppression) I remember clearly stating in one of my posts that there are half a dozen oil rich Turkic states in Asia who would all be willing to recognise TRNC.

They can be an economic power of their own currently, attracting great interest from U.S. Russia and China as well as Europe in terms of trading. Contrary to what some spoiled GCs beliefs and attitude, recognition of TRNC might be a reality sooner than they think, if they do not come to their senses and make more realistic gestures in their efforts to create a joint Cyprus Republic.

I believe Azer Beijan already recognises TRNC (albeit no official declaration yet). For those who are too blind to see the truth. here is a list of Turkic nations at the moment:
Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

There are also many of Turkic speaking nations in Asia such as:
Siberian Altai Republic (Altays)
Republic of Yakutia(Yakuts)
Tuva of Russian Federation(Tuvans)
Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (Turkistan)
Republic of Tatarstan
Dagestan Republic
Republic of Khakassia
Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
Territorial Autonomous Unit of Gagauzia (Moldova)
Republic of Bashkortostan

Anyone who wishes to find out more about the roots, existance, and culture of the Turkic people may entertain themselves by going throughthe extensive list on:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkic_peoples

You'll be surprised at the existence of the number of influential Turkic communities in addition to above, dominating an area expanding Eastern Europe to China.

Just being informative, so please do not shoot the author! :D

(If that doesn't wake up Get Real - nothing will    )
