It is unbeleivable how difficult it is to get information in Cyprus or on Cypriot legal matters.

I have been trying to get a straight YES or NO about a question for so long now and no one can help me!

I m a non EU citizen, my Dad is Cypriot, I have lived , studied and worked in Cyprus in the past for a long time .. but I never got the Cypriot citizenship coz I left Cyprus for some time. Now I wish to repatriate and relocate in Cyprus and get a job.

Can I work legally in Cyprus being the daughter of A Cypriot even if I m not a Cypriot myself and a non EU national??

IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME A STRAIGHT,SURE,AUTHENTIC ANSWER TO THIS I M PREPARED TO EVEN PAY MONEY FOR IT.

ACQUISITION OF THE CYPRIOT CITIZENSHIP BY REGISTRATION OR NATURALISATION

Registrations of minors (under the age of 18)
(a) Applications for registration of minors who were born abroad after 16/08/1960 and their father is a Cypriot citizen or after 11/6/1999 and their mother is a Cypriot citizen are submitted on form M.121. A birth certificate of the child, identity card, passports and certificate of marriage of the parents are attached.

(b) Applications for registration of minors who were born either in Cyprus or abroad after 16/08/1960 and either their father or mother acquired the Cyprus citizenship after their birth or before 11/06/1999 and their mother is a Cypriot citizen are submitted on form M.126 by the parent who is a Cypriot citizen. Two photographs and a birth certificate of the minor, photocopies of the passports of the parents and consent of the parent who is not a Cypriot citizen are attached.

Adults (over 18) of Cypriot descent, who are citizens of any country and live abroad, may acquire Cypriot Citizenship by application for registration on the basis of Article 4 (3) of the Laws, form M123, (for those born after 16.8.1960). Persons born before 16.8.1960 can apply, for citizenship, either according to the Cyprus citizenship Laws article 5(1) if they are citizens of U.K. and colonies or of a commonwealth country and reside in Cyprus (form 124) or Annex «D» (form M71, M72) if they reside abroad
