That is so kind of you ,,, but I did promise money .. if you are serious and are willing to help me anyways ... then be careful u r rare ,, and rare creators always become extinct (just a kid :D

Now the link is ok ..
It says :-
"
Cypriots residing abroad and do not have Cypriot citizenship, may enter Cyprus without a visa and stay or work for an unlimited time of period. However, if the position they intend to work in, requires a Cypriot Citizenship (e.g. permenant civil servants), they have to acquire one."

But how am I supposed to prove I m Cypriot if I m not ?? I.e. if you don't have citizenship then you don't have a Cypriot passport ... I was not born in Cyprus ... and my father was not born in Cyprus either ,, he acquired citizenship by naturalization he is not a Cypriot by origin ...

So how r u supposed to go about that??

The last time I wanted to go to Cyprus I had to get a visa and I was treated like an Allien although I did present my Dad's Cypriot passport to the embassy ??

(b) Applications for registration of minors who were born either in Cyprus or abroad after 16/08/1960 and either their father or mother acquired the Cyprus citizenship after their birth or before 11/06/1999 and their mother is a Cypriot citizen are submitted on form M.126 by the parent who is a Cypriot citizen. Two photographs and a birth certificate of the minor, photocopies of the passports of the parents and consent of the parent who is not a Cypriot citizen are attached

dont know if this helps ezis in this case it seems that the parent who aquired cypriot citizenship must apply for you.
I must go to work now I,ll check in later to see how you're doing

good luck

The fact that your father has a Cypriot passport is powerful stuff here in Cyprus! :)

You must go to your nearest Cypriot Embassy/Consulate and apply for a Cypriot passport on the grounds of your father's citizenship. Simple.

Hmm, sorry to hear that.

Why don't you arrange an appointment with the Cypriot ambassador in your country of residence and tell him all about this and HIGHLIGHT your love and allegiance to Cyprus and you just never know...

The power of the tongue knows no bounds...

Actually this is my next step.. go see the Cypriot Ambassador here ...

But I wanted to know my chances first ..

Thanks all of you ,, u don't know how much this troubles me ... I had to go through so much shit because of it ..

Last time I was in Cyprus I went there coz my Dad was hospitalized and dying of cancer .. I stayed with him for around 4 months ,, in this time I married .. coz my boyfriend could not bare the idea of loosing me since I left the country and my job in such a short notice to be with my dying dad at the time...
I had to go through so much trouble to be able to let him in Cyprus ,, and to get a visa exension for both of us to be able to stay in Cyprus ... he couldn't work ofcourse ,, and I was afraid to work too .. coz I wasn't sure if it was legal ... and coz of all the trouble I was given when I wanted an extension to stay I was too intimidated to ask the immigration officer ... I had no money to eat I used to eat once every two days .. all my money was spent on petrol to go to be with Dad at the hospital ...

It is a time I will never forget
