What you have stated is worth defending but you have reserved that Cypriotness for yourself only. You keep quoting from the bible that you have written and claim that it has been spoken to you by your god and that is the arrogance of a demented mind. A whole nation is wrong and because of a few wrongs done by a man that had to deal with the times in which he lived you have forsaken the entire TC people. You keep confusing what we have to do with how we have to do it in order to get there. I have no disrespect for my Greek cousins and you are doing your best, along with your sidekick Kikapyros, to make us look like the aggressors. The aggressors are the people that vote for an EOKA president that has ENOSIS on his mind and in his very being. Why don't you hate him knowing his past. Why don't you hate the ones that did us wrong. You try to cover this up by saying it is in the past but so is Denktas but you selectively choose to use him as an example but not TPap. You see us as partitionist terrorists and you spread the hate about us but then go and choose Kifeas as your member of the Forum. The man that has promised hate and hurt to anyone that dares to speak up for what they believe in. Well you can have him and those that are like him and think like him. You are a fake mate and you have made your assumptions on a personal level and think nothing of your Turkish Cypriot brothers. You do not follow your statement above about respecting all Cypriots but only the Greek ones. Your shame about uncivilised the Turks are is a disgrace to you and an insult to your children. Your weaknesses are not to be taken as the norm for all TCs. We have civility and we have respect for ourselves and you have nothing but shame and disrespect for a fine and honourable people. Your wishes for the TCs have been at last told by you as it is. You see the GCs as a more modern and respectful race to be and as you have stated in a few posts the Turks as barbarians and that is what is eating you up. Make no mistake that I have got your number now. I can remember the time when I was a kid and my mum would speak at the top of her voice in Turkish in a crowded area. It would make me cringe and I would walk away so that people would think that I was not with her. I wanted to be an English kid so much that it hurt and my Turkishness was a burden. I wanted to fit in with all the other English kids and I hated my parents and therefore myself for being Turkish. Every time a bigoted English woman gave my mum a dirty look it killed me a little inside. Every time an English family moved away from our picnic area when we were at the seaside it made me hate myself more.
Well let me tell you mate, I have grown up now and have dealt with those issues. I have seen that they are no better than me. I have seen that there is no one on this planet that is better than me. I have made my claim to being a person that has every right to be on this planet and then refined that to having every right to be on my island of birth as a Turkish Cypriot. I have every right to claim my Cypriotness and my Turkishness and I will not speak in whispers in mixed company. You or anyone else will not ever make me feel ashamed to be Turkish. There is nothing to be ashamed of and if you look at my posts you will see no shame. You need to have a look at your self at see at what point you decided that you were ashamed to be a Turkish Cypriot and a Turk. Your posts from the start have shown the signs that you are constantly beating yourself up over who you are. The sins of other Turks lay heavy on your shoulders and make you ashamed to have the same blood. What is a shame though is that your adopted blood does no better in those stakes. The sins of their fathers are just as burdensome. No one is better than me and I am no better than them.

Zan,
Why do you insist on trying your best, to say that we hate Turkish People or hate being a Turkish Cypriots. The fact that we always refer to ourselves as Cypriot or Turkish Cypriots should tell you, who we are. The fact that we do not approve what the Partitionist and what the 'TRNC' is trying to do with the help of Turkey for the past 33 years, should not mean that we don't belong to the Cypriot Community.
How ofter have you heard since America went to an illegal war in Iraq, that those Americans who do not approve of what Bush and his team are doing also feel ashamed to be Americans and not able to feel proud as they once did when ever they travelled abroad. Anyone with a conscience will feel guilty by association to their Nations wrong doings. I'm very proud to say aloud, when I think my Nation is doing something wrong, and through that loud cry, the leaders will eventually change course, as we are doing in the States. We have managed to kick some politicians out because of the way we disapproved of their wrong doings in Iraq, and the shame and the embarrassment they have brought on to America and the American people. That does not mean I hate America or it's people, but will complain like hell, until they get things right, and bring respect back to that country again.
Are you telling me, that the same is happening in the 'TRNC', or are people and politicians are just happy to keep things the way they are, because they believe it is a matter of time before the whole world will forget that 200,000 GC's have been made refugees in their own country by Turkey, and that their own citizens (TC's) are enjoying their land and property illegally without remorse, while they can only sit and wait for a solution, to be able to return home, but when we have those Partitionist and Turkey who does not want to have a solution and want to keep their 'HARAM LAND' for themselves, how can Bir and I just keep quiet. A bigger question to you Zan is, how can you keep quiet. Why are you not outraged with your own communities wrong doings. Bir and I know what the GC's have done to us in the past, and it is never forgotten, but it is forgiven, but the crimes against the GC's are still on going, so how can we keep quiet, because if we don't say anything, then we might as well be guilty as those who are committing these crimes, as we speak.
So my friend Zan, you have to choose to be on the side of the continued wrong doings by our people today against the GC's, or be on the side, that want to bring justice and fairness to all, because the way I see things right now, is not the direction I would support, therefore I will continue to shout, so that perhaps some of those in my community who have been fed the 'Hate the GC's Pill' and put to asleep, will wake up, and start doing the right thing.
Are you willing to do the right thing Zan, or are you just happy to be one of those, who want to maintain the status qua, which means in reality, to support the present crimes against the GC's, and take your place in history, as the ones that built the 'HARAM TRNC', from their rightful owners, who are the Turkish and Greek Cypriots.
Please, no more excuses about the past Zan.
How about the future for a change.
