I am visiting Cyprus next week for one week and I have viewed a few weather reports and they all have temperature between 25-32 degress, what is the temperature there really, does it feel pretty hot at the moment?

I came back yesterday, it was 34 degrees, they having a mini heatwave at the moment. temperatures reached 42 degrees, this is said to last until tuesday/wednesday then temperatures back to the normal 27 ish degrees, so I am told.

Even though the temps have been high, there has been a nice (warm) breeze so it didn't feel as bad as it sounds.

I stayed at Tasia Maris Gardens, Nissi Beach. Fantastic location, lovely appartments, couldn't fault it. Was my first time to Cyprus and it is one of the nicest places I have been too, didn't want to come home and can't wait to go back

We live on Polis/Latchi side of the island and it is SERIOUSLY hot at the moment and very humid. Fine during the day with a breeze/on the water but much hotter at night than normal ie 30 degrees+

head for a beach with a good breeze like Latchi beach or the great hideway beach at Pomos. Details about both beaches can be found at

It's almost 35C in my living room as I am posting this entry - and hotter than hell outside!
