Sir
please correct me if i'm wrong. i know very little about these events but according to some very quick research:
(please feel free to correct these figures)
It is my understanding that the ottoman Armenian population was estimated at being about two million.
Today’s republic of Armenia population at 4 million, with about one million having left Armenia since 1991 that makes five million.
The greek ottoman population was put at 3.5 million – today it is about 11.5 million. .
Research from websites claims 1.5 million Armenian were killed.
It appears that as a relatively poorer soviet state, the Armenian population has increased nine-fold, whilst in a relatively richer Greece, the greek population has increased only three-fold.
Is there anything I’ve missed or got wrong?
