What common do we have with the ancient Greeks? Do you ever come across our complexes (proud to be Greek) or phobias, anywhere in the ancient Greek world? Would a contemporary Socrates (I am not an Athenian nor a Greek, I am a citizen of the world) survive in the modern Greek state? Just wondering and of course when I speak I speak for myself. I seriously put it to you that I do not speak on behalf of Marikkou from Lefkara.

Of course you do. The ancient Greeks were quite aware of their ethnicity and very proud of it, remember the Hellanodikai?

Actually Socrates did not survive in the ancient Athenian state either. But there are many modern-day "Socrateses" who do live and prosper in Greece, you may know of who I'm talking about
