Why would anyone be interested in overpriced junk wood lacquered over in blue, red, yellow, and green, when there are so many fine furniture makers out there? I wouldn’t accept IKEA crap if it was given to me for free.

Why would anyone be interested in overpriced junk wood lacquered over in blue, red, yellow, and green, when there are so many fine furniture makers out there? I wouldn’t accept IKEA crap if it was given to me for free.


Yeah right - but if your on a tight budget (like the real world) and refurnishing your house then Ikea is like a god send.

And dont tell me you dont find their market hall (before the checkout) addictive!!!! lol

IKEA uses cheap chip-boards and just sprays them over and you then have to assemble the furniture yourself so I can't accept that their goods are "cheap"! People should shop around and they'll be in for a pleasant surprise.

As for the market hall, I don't know I haven't been to IKEA in Cyprus, I don't even know where it is. :)
