HOW DO TURKISH CYPRIOTS SEE GREEK CYPRIOTS?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Kifeas » Sat Jun 02, 2007 3:23 pm

Yeah …right? You found the perfect cure to all our ailments, Epsilon!

Yeah! Let’s all take the shining path that you point us towards!

I suppose your zero political IQ doesn’t allow you to understand that there is a far better chance that the TCs will convince the rest of the world to allow them a recognized state in the 37% of Cyprus; than there is a chance to convince even one single person outside Greece or Cyprus of the validity of your theories, especially those about a non-existing Cypriot nation, but only Greeks and Turks. Such a political moron you are, that you do not even realize or know that in fact this is precisely the Turkish thesis and argument on the basis of which they are hoping to legitimize and legalize partition, and the only reason they haven’t succeed so far is because the international community doesn’t favor or accept such an approach.

Go and join the ranks of the Turkish kemalists, the neo-ottoman pan-touranists, the deep-state, the Generals of the TA and the Denktash followers in the north; so that all of you work together to convince the world that there are indeed two peoples and two nations in Cyprus, the Greeks and the Turks! The moment you all manage to achieve the proving of your very sophisticated theory; they will immediately be left with 37% of Cyprus in their hands, and you with only a Greek flag to roll around your neck and go to the football stadium to watch Apoel or Anorthosis!

Such a political moron you are!

It woul be better Kifea to state you ideas without comment with ..moron etc, becaue on same basis you an your ideas can be considered the same by some other people.

You are threatting GCs with partision and regognision of NC state unless what? Unless Turkish army officially appointed as guarantor of both sides of Cyprus? Unless we sign an oficial acceptance of the situation created by force of arms by taking back a small percentage of land?By hanging our culture, language, history?By giving a forgivness letter to Turkey?

Then what Kifeas? Partition will not be the case by our signature ? You think so? Then look the other side for moron etc.

What you have been offered better than what we have today? JUST A SOLUTION FOR SOLUTION-Just sign whatever ?

My clever freind the Turks achieved what they have today not because they were suporting fanny things such a Cyprus nation and negotiating their plans. They have what ever they have today in Cyprus because of arms power and their unflexible positions and requiements-STOP TO HELP THEM IN THEIR PLANS-

Give us a solution better than today's situation and then i will agree with you that citizens of Cyprus are Chinese.

Many of you here make the mistake, like so many people before you, on concentrating on the needs and wants of communities and this is precisely why Cyprus is still politically struggling to stand on her feet.

This is NOT how a healthy country/state is built but on a predefined set of rules that EVERY community must settle down to. Cyprus as a NATION must be treated with priority and not what Greek Cypriots, Turkish Cypriots, and other Cypriots want; all that comes secondary.

When you build a house you start with the foundations and overall structure, not with the colour of the bedrooms or the furniture.

In a classroom of pupils there is no time for individual attention for each student so the teacher must enforce a set of rules that will ensure that as many pupils as possible will get through the year with maximum knowledge on the curriculum as possible. The classroom cannot remain stagnant just because two or more students have had a problematic upbringing and need special attention.

There should be no special deals or special rules for ANYONE but a well defined and established democratic body under which ALL communities should abide by and ALL communities should SETTLE DOWN TO.

Diabolical arrangements have ALL been exhausted in the past and have all failed miserably and yet there are people still coming forward with “ideas” to re-invent the wheel! When will they learn?

Regards, GR.

It seem that many of you still consider that the problem is between ROC and TCS.The problem is between ROC and Turkey.

Even TCs moved to South and declare that they prefer to lieve with GCs the Turkish Army will stay in NC since its scope is Turkey's interests and not TCs safety and other jokes

We should deal with the answers 1 by 1...I am gonna give my ideas on different threads as this thread is becoming more and more "irrelevant". The *safe guards* thread is on "public safety" issue as I think thats the primary thing to deal with.... I wrote some ideas on the thread and will add more later on...

I'm also in agreement with the need to refrain from calling everyone with a logical theory no matter how far it is from our own opinions as a moron (myself included in this)

After a lot of thought during my time on this forum for what its worth I've changed my opinions on the unification that i'd like to see for cyprus which i could have the clear head and conscience to vote for.

THe VP's of the TC community have helped me understand that a bi-communal bi-zonal federation will not work out. I believe VP and his colleagues (Zan, Mrfromng and BigOz) when they say they represent a lrge chunk of the TC community and do not think a federation would work out with individuals requesting unreasonable caveats in every possible paragraph in a new constitution.

I think now that for me (again for what its worth) the only solution can be one republic, one person, one vote.

Personally i believe the risks in signng a federation far outweigh the risks of waiting around for a republic solution and as far as my property is concerned I will apply to the ECHR and try to gain compensation for it while not giving up my right to return to it.

I guess i need to thank vp and Co for this.

EPSILON I think that under your theory there no such peaple like Americans, Canadians , Australians, or New Zealanders because there are no such nations!
Cyprus IS a nation and the inhabitants of this nation are CYPRIOTS not Greeks or Turks or WHATEVER!
Yes they have an ethnic background but they also have their own uniqie culture!
If you dont consider yourself a Cypriot then I suggest you should move to another place ...

Cyprus is a UNIQUE nation having various people with different etchnic backgrounds!
Yes the Cyprus problem is between us Cypriots and Turkey but your thoughts atr just their thoughts also!
