when someone critisizes the nationalists of his own community, this does not mean that he accepts the positions of the nationalists of the other community.

this is the tragedy of people who attempt to view history in a different way.... so loucas charalambous will be labelled here as a sell out....while on the other side the same school of thought will say the same about sener levent..... or come along with threads like kikapoulopoulos

So what is the real ntensions of people like Loucas Cyp. What part do they play in all this?

You must be really naive if you don't believe that a GC could counter the post that started this thread with arguments and details of Turkish atrocities over the years. Ah yes but according to your "rules" events before 1963 don't count do they, unless they were anti TC of course. Stop raking up the past, admit that you are equally to blame for the current situation but most of all GROW UP!

Where were you when all the hate was targeted at us Jerry. This is a genuine question??????

DT

Are you expecting us to deny or belittle what you posted. Absolutely terrible events that make you want to give up on the whole human race.

What I will say though is where were the TCs in all of that.

Zan, i wasn't really expected anything...I guess i'm just trying to point out how uselss this exercise of who suffered/posted more is.

If your question on where the TC's are is a chronological one then I guess the TC's in 74 are in the same place the GC's were in the 60's.

You know, it took me a long time to come out from behind the sofa to watch that program. I get embarrassed for people too easily. I still can't watch it with ease. You will probably think that I am lying here because of my views on here and how vocal I can be but I cannot relate to any of the characters. I would not last five minutes in an office like that. My idea of office work is like the investment bank my wife works in. Real grown up people that just get on with their work and take it seriously.

not sure about that Zan. I worked in an investment bank as a head trader up to January when I packed up and came to Cyprus. after 14 yeats in uk. I don't miss it one bit due to the infighting, politics and back stabbing that go on there. I've found that I am a much more light hearted individual ever since I got out of that life....My wife says I'm a new person, less moody all the time.

(not saying your wife is moody btw) i have a feeling that most offices here in Cyprus are carbon copy of the "office" in slough!
