How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

You will follow like sheep and re-elect him for another term, you never know he may just shed a few more crocodile tears to get the sympathy vote. Looks like the Cyprus problem is a non starter for another 5 years, more of the same as it appears you GCs are happy with his dealings and prgress on the Cyprus issue.

Well done GCs you can only blame yourselves.

you talk of sheep? This from a people that elected Rauf Denktash for 2 decades running?

Our excuse is that Denktas always won with the votes of Turks (settlers as you call them)

TP won and will win again with the votes of the masses sending a very loud and clear message to Ankara that a crime is a crime and will never be forgotten and that there can be no deals whatsoever with criminals and no blackmails accepted.

Justice MUST and WILL be served... sooner or later.

Its a pity your understanding of justice only applies to GC's..

Zan, so far I had hope that the partinionist and extremely nationalistic post of yours were some sort of reaction to equally nationalistic posts from the side of Nikiforos, alexISS and co. I amn sorry to say that your above post is a really disappointing one that shows you have no interest whatsover about reunifying the island.

It just makes one wonder what was all those argunment about TP being a rejectionist afterall since you really don't give a sh*t about waht happens on the GC side.

Please think along those lines highlighted in red and then go back and read my post again. I will not say any more on the matter and await your response.

Well m8 i guess we don't have one. Thats what happens when you live in a democracy and 100,000's of individuals are not imported to alter an election process.

Zan, I know what I have written so there is no need to highlight it. The fact is that everytime a person with extreme views joins the forum then all threads become an arena for bickering and name-calling. Why don't people just ignore extreme views and move on instead of answering back with even more extreme views. During the last 3 weeks or so I have seen almost all TCs in this forum, with a few exceptions, turning into grey wolf equivalents in terms of the content of their posts. The same goes with a number of GCs.

This is perfectly decent thread that deal with an issue of paramount importance for any future developments in the CyProb. Not because any change in office in the RoC will solve the problem (Turkey's resistance to negotiate will still be there) but at least it will create new dynamics with regards to bringing the two communities closer and maybe create a better environment for negotiations to start once again.
Now will we get back to the original topic? What are yours and other TCs views on the issue?

GR, may I ask what makes you so certain about TP winning the elections? IMO it will all come down to who passes to the 2nd round. I think that all 3 candidates have equal chance to pass in the second round.

Askimwos,
My view for what its worth is that the re -election of Tpap will cement partition. I dont feel that that he is serious about a negioated solution.

Will anything change if you re-elect Papadop? obviously you are happy with the progress that has been made over the last 5 years elect him again and you can have more of the same.
