To answer the initial question, a quick web search reveals that approximately 200,000 people appears to be an accurate number of displaced GC's from northern Cyprus:

Number of dead not seen there but TC and GC opinion both accounted for. Accounts of TCs killed are there as well. If anybody really wants, I can look further into numbers of GCs killed. I have no desire to at this point.
Honestly, the hostility displayed here the past few days (both sides) is pretty *ucking revolting. I feel badly for every Turkish life lost. It's a real shame that elements on both sides of the coin don't share that toward each other, and that one went as far as to deny the number of our dead and ethnically cleansed. Why would you make fun of someone' loss like that? This one really is beneath contempt.

The same thing YOUR people are trying to say when they question our figures: PROPAGANDA, PROVE IT, WHERES YOUR SOURCES ETC ETC............................Let's see you prove some things for once.
Furthermore we have a lot more reasons to question your figures if the "missing" GCs are anything to go by...if you didn't notice they've reduced in numbers considerably.
Turns out RoC government REFUSED to cross out those that they knew as dead and used them as propaganda.
That's pretty suspicious don't you think...?
