Anglesey eh? Isn't that the little island west of England? What was life like there? :)

Yep. Well, west and north of Wales (it is Wales) to be exact, but close enough. Is a bit like a small version of Cyprus. Except there is nothing on Anglesey at all really. Limassol feels like London in comparison.

I lwas born in Cyprus and lived there for the first 8 years of my life! Then it all went wrong. I was abducted by my mum and taken to UK :bawling:

 Well I wasn't exactly abducted but I thought I was going to Famagusta to see my cousins but ended up at the airport... :?

I've been in the UK since :bawling:

First came here for 20 months 1952-1953 and stayed 6 months in 1956. This time, I bought this house just over 10 years ago (no deeds yet) but didn't start to live here until Aug 1998.

I used to go to Anglesey every year for a caravan holiday (not too far from Liverpool) - Red Wharf Bay (is that right!) where we went crab hunting under the pebbles and ate ice cream and always had those silly tall black welsh hats! Happy memories.

13 months now love it here but finding work can be a bit of a bitch do employers really think you can live here on £175 a week now im not one to go out on piss every night and careful with money im lucky to be mortgage free but still manage to just break even when shopping, petrol, house insurence, car insurence, private medical insurence, and utility bills are paid, also we didnt have grandchildren when we arrived (my partners children ) we have two now in uk dont know if my partner can stand being away from them TRICKY!
