Dear Lena,

you said:

"Well If the people from Greece are named Greeks and the people from Cyprus (who are Christians) are named Greeks as well...who are the Cypriots one? "

"who are Christians" ??? This is NOT true? Who told you that that all people from Cyprus are Christians??? I am from Cyprus and i am NOT a Christian.
What about the muslims, atheists, agnostics, etc, from Cyprus?

"who are the Cypriots" ??? Cypriots, now, are the Greek people (desendants of the Myceneans) that live in the island, and the Turkish people (desendants of the Ottomans) that also live in the island. What is so confusing about that ??? Both groups are called Cypriots, because they have a citizenship from the state of Cyprus. Same like the USA. There, there are Chinese, Mexicans, etc, but they are all "Americans" because they have american citizenship. Now, in the USA, some will fight for the USA, because their citizenship overides their nationality, but some will not.
In othe words, some Chinese feel more americans than chinese, but that's very much artificial.

Do not confuse citizenship with nationality...
