Here is a story for you too.

A Greek guy was walking along a riverbank when he stumbled across a Turkish lady in a wheelchair. She had her face in her hands and she sobbed uncontrollably. The man asked her why she was crying and she would not say. He said that it would be good o talk to someone and that she should tell him. After a lot of twoing and throwing she finally told him what he problem was. " I have been in this wheel chair for twenty of my forty years", she said. " In that twenty years I have not had a man make love to me once. I was sexually active before my accident but not one man has wanted to sleep with me since. Basically", she said weeping again, "I want to be fucked". She broke down again and the man tenderly took her hands away from her face. When she saw the look in his eyes she stopped crying. He gently lifted her up and took her over to a grassy nook by the river. He gently laid her down on the soft grass, stood up and walked over to her wheel chair. He slowly folded it up and then with a mighty shove, threw it into the river. He looked over to the woman on the grass and said......" Now your fucked", and walked off.

That is for the fucker that strip-searched my mother back in 62.

Well, what can I say Zan.

I really did not get your story at all, but I got all the story I needed to know, regarding your mother.

If that were to have happened to my mother, I would have been just as much pissed and angry as you are. But who would I be angry against Zan.? I would be angry against the person who violated my mothers dignity and privacy and to anyone who protected this person from prosecution for his actions. This is how you fight injustices, on a case by case basis, and not blame the innocent that did not take part in strip searching your mother. This is the time you need everyone around you, to support your fight against injustices. Do you for one minute believe, that any GC person would have approved what happened to your mother.? So please blame those who commit the crime, but support others to help you, as citizens of your nation, to bring the guilty to justice.

This is how I see the past conflicts Zan. I do not forget the experience of the past, but willing to forget the reasons as to why it happened. Today is a different world than it was 40+ years ago. You can be more productive in helping with the future generations, than the past ones. Time does not stand still, and life must go on. What may have been good reasons in the past for conflicts, are no longer valid anymore. I do not see any reason why we as Cypriots can not, and should not live together as one people from one nation. You don't even have to like your "neighbours", but you can be polite. I don't think there are too much love going around here in Switzerland between the Swiss Italians, Swiss French and the Swiss Germans, who live mostly in their own areas, but damn it, they are all Swiss at the end of the day, and if their Nation were to be attacked, they will stand together to fight the common enemy, to safeguard their homeland.

Can we not do the same Zan, rather that fighting with each other.??

Kikapu - you are really full of shit mate! I sometimes wander what your real IQ is? You make authoritative statements on Cyprus problem when in reality you know fuck all about it! In fact your whole evaluation and view seems to be a response to your own "alleged uncle".

What do you mean bt "So please blame those who commit the crime, but support others to help you, as citizens of your nation, to bring the guilty to justice.". Have you not been reading a single post I and many others have written referring to the subject of guilty ones and no one admitting or punishing the guilt?

Let me enlighten your corrupt views a little further and then perhaps you can let us know who we should exactly support in "punishing the guilty". Read this: ( http://www.cyprus-conflict.net/sampson.htm )

"After the Athens-backed coup, the Greek military junta chose Sampson as president n but he was forced to resign eight days later. In August 1976, after being tried and found guilty of military actions against the state, Sampson was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He was subsequently allowed to go to France for medical treatment, before returning to the island in June 1990. Following his release from prison only a few months later, he went back to the newspaper publishing business, reviving two former titles, Machi and To Tharros."

If this is an example of how the ENOSIS supporting guilty are brought to justice, then what is it exactly that you are preaching? Can you name how many of the EOKA-B men who murdered their own during 1974 had been jailed and for how long?

I suggest you stick to chatting ladies or at least show some respect and do some more research / reading before you feel you have some divine right to advise the others!

So are you going to take revenge on the average citizens. Is this your kind of justice. At least Sampson did some time, which is more than I can say for other criminals both on the GC side and TC side, as well as major crimes committed by the Turkish Army.

It seems like you have been flying too long in the clouds, and have lost your way around of who all the guilty parties are..

Yes BibOz, we should take you very seriously indeed.!

Zan hatırlarsan bir kaç ay önce annem hakkında bunu yazdım...

told me about really bad experiences she had with GCs back in those days, specially on one incident at a road block in Cyprus where she was treated really inappropriately by the GCs that searched them.

You just spilt your guts to Lena with all the wrong doings of others, but when it comes to you taking responsibility for your actions, you back away.

There are times I am truly grateful I am regularly away from my computer due to work and family committments...So that I don't have to get caught in poisonous threads like this...

The heat is already out of this thread and I don't want to say anything that might ignite it again...But some people here are truly beyong the pale...You want to destroy a person, totally annihilate his character, his identity, his sense of self, because you cannot accept that he might think differently than you on the Cyprus problem...What pitiful lot you are!!!
You do not realise that it is this mentality (you are either with us or against us/you cannot be a true TC if you empathise with GCs/one must never show compassion for the "other" side etc etc) that makes me ashamed sometimes to say I am Turkish Cypriot...If being a true TC is to refuse to believe a heartfelt account of one of your own's visit to his homeland after 40 odd years, and to look for silly excuses to deny him his identity, his sense of belonging,to insult him with silly names and worse...I hereby resign my membership of the TC community...I will have to be satisfied with being a true Cypriot, and stand side by side with Kikapu, miltiades and their like, and fight for peace, justice and compassion for all Cypriots...including the deserving TCs...those who do not blindly follow the chavinistic,nationalist,self-serving, hate-propaganda,those who have an independent mind and an open heart...those who do not judge others by their gender,or by the marital status of their parents...

the same can be said with regards to the Zan's and VP's from the GC side. (i'd include that funny guy BigOZ as well but no one really takes him that seriously)

As I've said before the likes of Bir, Lena, Miltiades and Kikapu are the ones who will save us all in the end. These people need to be heard and the likes of us need to lower our tone and listen to reason every now and then.

I am sorry to say this Birkibrisli but you've got the wrong end of the stick! There is no point in reading the last 3 posts in a thread and jumping to conclusions.

There has been a lot of debate going on here about the truthfulness of many claims by both sides. In the end TC claims in this forum have been proved to a great extent by historic data and quotations from independent sources. Even the GCs in tios forum chose not to respond to some of those quotes - probably realising there was truth in what has been claimed.

Kikapu single handedly tried to rubbish the truth by making silly comments whilst not even bothering to read the contents of preceding posts. Because he got into a slanging match with couple of others! Sorry but I have no patience, sympathy or time for such characters. Supposed to be a TC and tries to cover a very legible discussion with excrement!

If you read the posts of last couple of days you may also understand why TCs are so persistent in everyone understanding the true facts surrounding Cyprus history and why things have ended up the way they have.

No I do not agree with you referring to TCs as "those who do not blindly follow the chavinistic,nationalist,self-serving, hate-propaganda". Again, the posts of the past two days prove quite the contrary. I honestly cannot understand your response! It may well be you fell out with the other TCs in this forum in the past - but I assure you none of us are uneducated or ill-informed on the subjects of these discussions.

Screw personal views and opinions - the equation is simple: THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE TRUTH! Until that truth is recognised, TCs will not trust the other side and there will never be a solution - simple as...

Who died and make you spokesman for everyone you twat, so that you are making stupid comments like above about how serious people take me?

Is it because I showed you up and silenced you, you are now responding in such an idiotic way. Let me give you a word of warning - you better listen to what the TCs are saying and listen well...

And what kind of talk is refering to TCs as "these people...", or refering to yourself as "people like us..."? You sound like Hitler reincarnated! I could tell you a lot more about what I think of you as a person but will break it here because we just had a bried discussion with admin about the way people are insulting each other in this forum. But if you know the story of
the "parrot", then "you know what I mean"! If you do not, let me know and I shall write it in the jokes section. Meanwhile shut it if you have nothing constructive to say! Image
