To all; Has anyone mentioned "the Pirates of the Carribean II in this forum? . I searched on the forum to see if there were any mention of a certain scene involving a TC and a GC. They are genuine TC and GC actors. In this scene I refer to, these two pirates (the TC and GC) find captain Jack Sparrows Tricorn Hat. They begin fighting over the ownership of this hat. The TC talks and shouts in his very strong TC accent and I am sure the GC does likewise in his greek (Cypriot) language. Unless you are aGreek speaker or a Turkish speaker you would not have known. After the ensuing struggle a big wave sweeps the deck of the ship where this takes place and the hat is lost, and the two participants blame each other for the loss. I wonder what forces added this scene in this film. Some of you must have seen it. Anyone??

I saw the scene and noticed some gibberish that sounded like Turkish, but I do not agree he was a TC. It sounded more like a very bad Turkish - even by TC standards, spoken by someone who learned it by hard - I think it was probably a non-Cypriot actor. I still have not worked out what they were trying to prove using the language in that scene or why it was there! Perhaps trying to associate the pirates with Barbarossa's sailors at the time, but then again I am sure they never ventured all the way to the Carribean!

Big Oz the TC actor is definitelt a Cypriot.He was in Eastenders, a popular soap on british TV. His name is Osman something I cant remember his other name.
