Let us play a game here!

Let’s make a virtual trial of the case of “Cyprus vs. Turkey vs. Cyprus” as it would have been presented infront of the International Court of Justice, had Turkey accepted the RoC invitation to have a ruling on the charges against it that illegally invaded on the 20th of July 1974 and has ever since illegally occupying 37% of the territory of Cyprus, encaging itself in various international law violations with the ethnic cleansing of the indigenous GC population, usurping their homes and properties, and transferring settlers from mainland Turkey to populate the occupied areas in the place of the expelled legitimate population.

Provided that all the other GCs in the forum agree, I would like to take the role of the RoC attorney.

It remains for the Turkish and /or TC side to appoint an attorney to defend the Turkish positions, and then to mutually agree on 1 or 3 judges from the remaining forum members to play the role of regulating the “trial” and making the final verdict!

Step1: Appointing the players!

Does any GC object to me, Kifeas, play the role of the RoC attorney? If yes, please say so and then propose who else you suggest taking this role.

Who among the TCs would like to be a candidate to play the role of the Turkish side’s attorney? Put down your names, and then have a vote among yourselves.

Who among the remaining forum members would like to play the role of the judges? Anyone interested, please put down your names here in this thread, and the attorney’s of the two litigant sides will mutually agree on which one(s) are suitable for this role!

Excellent idea although it might be better having 3-4 lawyers representing each side and 2-3 neutral expats representing the judges. This thread can be used to discuss these details and prepare for the actual case to be conducted in another thread and perhaps the admin may be able to only allow access to the lawyers and judges.

Yea right!

Whats the point when everything TCs put accross will be dismissed as propaganda just because it's something different to what GCs say? Most GCs actually get angry when something other than what they know is put forth...and will stop at nothing to dismiss claims against them. I've witnessed this many times on this forum...

There is no use..how about we start talking about how to solve the issue instead of working backwards all the time. Oh wait sorry nothing other than complete control of the island is good enough for the GCs so rather than solve it they're happier trying to prove themselves innocent..

GG and Nikki are ok but they would get bored shitless reading through heaps of political arguments. Some of the ex-pats have shown considerable knowledge on the Cyprob and those are the ones I was thinking of.
