I have several solutions

1. Steal a McDonalds sign and set it up out the front of their house.

2. Get a cut out of a big huge fat person and set it up outside with a sign that says

"Powered by Herbalife"

3. Pretend you are a Mormon (dress up in the trousers, white shirt and tie) and have a go at converting every person who tries to enter their house. After a day or two you wont see a person on the street

either of those solutions should work

If its an apartment then there are RoC civil laws regarding shared ownership buildings and what activities can take place in them (basically activities cannot take place that disturb other residents without the express written permission of the management commitee).

A house may have a codicil(s) attached to its Title Deed/building permission prohibiting business activities, or the area may be designated as residential only.

Shops and business designated buildings most likely have little or no restrictions unless they form part of a building which also houses residential accomodation (refer to the building management commitee).
