Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Hi,

Congratulations! I am a mother and a midwife, I work in the UK and in Cyprus. My other half is Greek cypriot and our kids do not have to do the army bit unless they want to.

Where in Cyprus are you going to move to? Have you had any children before? If so what kind of deliveries have you had. These questions are a bit personal but I cant advise you where to have your baby unless I get a picture of your previous obstetric history.

I dont mind if you want to email me personally with the info, so not to share the ins and outs with the world!!

Best of luck.

Where having a baby in August here in Cyprus, I'm a British Cypriot and my wife is English. From our experience so far. the medical attention you recieve here is far superior to the British NHS (but you obviously pay for it). In the UK you will probably have 3-4 scans during your pregnancy. So far we have had a scan on EVERY visit, free of charge.

The cost come on the delivery where it costs between £1000/£2000 depending on the clinic and birth.

Our Doctor (in Nicosia) is British and German trained and has the lowest misscarrage rate in Europe. ( we did our research b4 when choosing him).

As for the army, I'm not doing it and neither will my son-to-be. They can breed their own army if they are short of numbers.
