can someone solve this a.a.(a+3)=88

You haven't specified if you want to isolate "a" so I'm assuming you do here...


a*a=88/(a+3)

a=(88/(a+3))/a

a=(88/(a+3))/a

On second thoughts...

a^2=88/(a+3)

a:=SquareRoot(88/(a+3))

It can not be 8! 8.8.(8+3) = 704, not 88!! a is a bit more than 3.6
