Hey there,

If and when a Cyprus solution is reached, hopefully soon. How do people view the new flag? It's a cute flag, which can kind of grow on me. I guess the yellow is for the island, and the blue and red the Greek and Turkish colours.

However, i've gotten use to the original flag with the picture of the island and the olive leave's. But TC's i would imagine find it unacceptable as they probably view it as the flag of a Greek Cypriot state even though it's just as much there's as it ours as it was designed by a Greek and Turkish Cypriot.

Whatever flag we end up going with. Just as in the original where there are two olive leaves symbolising the two communities. I think these should be replaced with two donkeys that symbolise each community.

heh heh i like that flag but the donkeys heads should be replaced with that of tassos and denktas.
