I'm finally back on line and sadly I have missed most of what has been going on. I just did a quick read on this thread, and excuse me if some one else has already made this point.

I was under the impression, that all hospital expenses are covered by the Government in the RoC, and if true, why would Fanos would have had to pay ANY hospital bills, unless it was a Private Clinic. For appendix removal, it is fairly a routine operation, if caught before "breaking", otherwise it can be deadly if it "breaks"..

Who was the money paid to Fanos for your daughters operation.?

I also hope, that she is doing well.

If it was a Life and Death situation, even if the child was taken to a Private Clinic because of immediate threat to the child's health, I'm sure the Government would reimburse the clinic. When there is a free medical service, I do not think, people would go to a Private Clinics when short on cash, when given the choice.

Had she of waited until AFTER the promised date, and assuming you didn't pay back, what would Lena say? "I could have warned you that fanourıo is a crook, but I didn't"?

The point of a warning is to try and prevent people getting taken for a ride. Not to rub it in afterwards that she could have saved them from wasting a few quid.
