Yes GET REAL the one and only, I is the Asparagus man. I am glad you have retained your sense of humour after our encounter with Sheftalia a la Kakopetria!

I have no opinion on this , as i am a Brit living here.
But I do think that the no vote, was what shot the south in the foot..

they now have the idea, that if europe wont help, we will take up friendship
with the arab countries.

As I said, I have leanings to either side ..

Another parrot on the block! Welcome jambo! It seems you not only have the name, but you do have the grace too! Jambo is known for its thick skin, you know!

I suppose you heard the above cliché somewhere, and you decided to repeat it here, even though I am sure you have no clue of what you are talking about! Have you actually read one single paragraph out of the Annan plan, to have an opinion? I bet you didn't, however, "you do think that the no vote was what shot the south in the foot!" Great!!! "Shot ourselves in the foot," by not choosing to share our independence and sovereignty with a half populated and controlled by mainland Turkish settlers, so-called Turkish Cypriot state! “Shot ourselves in the foot,” by not choosing to become a province of Turkey, along the line with the so-called TC state, the to have been legitimised successor of the currently illegitimate “TRNC!” Right!!!

Bye, bye …jambo! You have indeed been a good pupil, learning your poem (slogan) by heart!

PS: Do not get overexcited ...jambo! Nothing is being decided yet! Be patient!

A group of five Turkish Cypriot businessmen who are in Kuwait with the aim of promoting the TRNC products and searching for ways of strengthening business, trade and investment links between the two countries, continues its contacts.

A dinner was given in honour of the Turkish Cypriot businessmen by the Turkish Embassy in Kuwait last night.

Speaking there, the Turkish Ambassador to Kuwait- Sakir Fakili said he was happy to see that the relations between the TRNC and Kuwait were improving.

During the dinner, Turkish Cypriot businessmen exchanged views with other guests on future projects.

The group consists of businessmen Turhan Beydagli, Gokhan Sarac, Sadik Gurun, Huseyin Diner and Abdullah Aktolgali, and is accompanied by the Director of Political Affairs and Information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs- Ahmet Erdengiz.

The Turkish Cypriot delegation will continue its contacts in Kuwait until the 14 of May during which it will have meetings with Kuwaiti businessmen as well as with representatives from the media institutions.

The visit comes after a decision by Kuwait to allow the TRNC to open a trade and tourism office in the country. The office is expected to be opened within this year.

I was under the impression, bost things are brought into the "TRNC", from Turkey. This is a serious question. I can see promoting tourism, but what else is there. Thanks.

You ignorant man! I’ll have you know that the “TRNC” is the world’s premier exporter of the world renowned “Adana Kebab” that everyone’s been drooling over lately... 8)
