Fanos I wish I could help you, but right now all my savings are gone and I am still spending. I have to fight with insurance companies and dig myself out of a hole also. I hope you get what you need as fast as you need it.

Sorry guys, but I smell a rat!

i can understand where you are coming from Kafenes, but what if the guy is really in need of the money, and you didn't help out with a little? is giving someone (or LENDING someone) a little money going to take food out of your mouth? it could make a whole lot of difference to Fanos. call it karma if you will. let the universe decide. you do a good deed by helping out a fellow cypriot, a fellow person, and it will come back to you.... call it what you will. it all adds up, so i hope you, or who ever, finds it in them to help this guy out.....

Sorry GG, it's not a matter of money. If Fanos (whom I don't know at all) came to me and gave a good reason why he needed the money then I wouldn't hesitate at all if it was for a worthy cause, and I wouldn't even want it returned. I really feel something is cooking and I don't want to be a sucker. I don't think he is going to steal any money but I am almost sure he is doing this to prove a point or something similar.

Kafenes, no one says you have to give to Fanos. but he did say in the beginning that he would discuss the reasons with anyone whou PM'd him or called him, and he left that info.
as for me, i have been in his shoes, and the generosity of others helped me out of a bad situation. i know how much i appreciated it, how it helped me. Fanos now is in my shoes, and i want to repay the favor. it's kind of like that "practice random acts of kindness" saying. if you gave only what you could afford to give, only good can come of it. if you gave more than you can afford, well, i wouldn't want to feel like that either. but i gave, and i gave in faith that i will get repaid in some way--by the universe....
