Hi people

I am pleased to see a nomination for me; I had previously decided to delete all future Polls where I was not included LOL!

As a Mod, I should not have favourites, so I will stick to a couple of names from the past, both of who disapeared at the end of Amin's boot!:

'Least favourite member': Lysi - who went on and on and on saying the same old thing, without ever offering reasons why he/she held that view. If you think some of the current members are repetitive.....they have nothing on Lysi.

'Quite a Favourite member': Pumpernickle. He was some sort of British journalist living in the 'red earth' area (as he described it) near the east coast. He was a bit anti-Cyprus, at times, but posted some challenging stuff about life here, in an articulate manner.

'Most favourite Forum posters': I have to say some of the contributors on the Forum have outstanding knowledge of all things Cyprus and all things in general. Many people for whom English is not there first language express themselves in a very clear manner, which is to their great credit.

'Least favourite Forum posters': those who tell me I dont know how to be a Mod soley on the basis that I have deleted their post which probably contained a string of obscenities! Or tell me I am totally biased for the same reason LOL!

To just a very few members I would say: God gave us one mouth - but two ears - I assume so that we should spend twice as long listening as speaking!

Pumpernickle was great! Wasn't he banned from the forum though?

Wonder where he is now.

actually i really like this forum, above all the other Cyprus related forums, most of which i find boring and a bit stuck up  i try never to get involved with the politics side of things, as i don't really understand it well enough to have an opinion about it, so i stay clear. i like virtually everyone on here in there own way, t/c, g/c, us, UK, i have no il feelings about anyone. i have found one or two things that have been posted on here a being out of order and i have protested, on such occasions, however overall i believe this is a very interesting, educational and informative forum, that i feel the urge to return to on a daily basis.

i love you all :D my all time vote is all of you

You banned Pumpernickel  I was feeling guilty that he did not post because of me. He was amazingly eloquent but annoyingly arrogant and I should not have picked on him. I wrote him one of my best poems although it was cruel and anti gay, which I am not.

What is this about me being moody????I realise that some of you do not want to upset people but some things have to be said and you all enjoy it anyway. Hands up all those hat watch those chat shows in which people swear and shout at one another. I hate them personally.

havent you heard i have stopped fecking all over the place.lol................. all that fecking nearly got me bared from the forum.......... lol
so im resisting the temptation to use the feck word on the grounds that the feck word gets me into fecking trouble for saying the fecking word, soo i have decided not to say the fecking word on the grounds i might end up in trouble again cos of the fecking word.if i was to use the feckign word again i might end up on the vote to ban me from the forum again for using the fecking word, soo im not going to say the fecking word anymore, cos its not feckign worth saying the fecking word for the sake of saying fecking
