The whole thing is as corrupt as the Cyprus government. Irrespective of the musical talents (?) of the participants, Cyprus will vote for Greece and vice versa, Sweden will vote for Norway and vice versa, Germany for Austria and vice versa and so on. The same as they always do. The whole thing is a stupid farce.

If it weren't for the fact that it would push my tax bill up, I almost wish Cyprus would win (they'll get a few votes from France, this year). It would demonstrate to the world how Cyprus can organise things, next year!!!

You grumpy old man I'll bet you'll watch every second of it and gobble down a truckload of popcorn!

But that's the whole point!!! Surely you didn't think it was serious?

It is ridiculous, political, rubbish music nonsense and that's why it is so funny!!!

I am going to watch it with my family, drink a lot of wine and laugh my head off! When the UK gets "nil point" again coz everyone hates the UK even though the people had no say about Iraq we will think it's even more funny! And Cyprus will give Greece "douze point" and vice versa and all will be right in the land of Eurovision. 8)

Has Switzerland got a second language that they learn in school?

I was hoping "Devil" would have answered your question, because he is Swiss, but the way it suppose to work is like this.

If you are Swiss German...your second language taught is French.

If you are Swiss French.....your second language taught is German.

If you are Swiss Italian..... your second language taught is German or French.

However, I believe English is fast becoming the Nations second language.

It's not uncommon, that most can speak three or more languages.

Where's Rule 301, when you really need it.!!

As always, I did not vote for anyone.

95% of Cypriots don't understand what our song is saying either  We can only understand the part that says "come on girls" Maybe you speak French Kikapu? I think thats the main language of Switzerland. But why you insist replying to this thread instead of the other one? :(

There's another thread on this topic.???

Majority speak Swiss German/ German in Switzerland Sotos.

I don't do French I'm afraid.

But Cypriots do learn French in school...is compulsory for 3 years
