Sotos wrote:devil, I can tell you didn't watch Eurovision for a while! Germany now votes for Turkey after the latest waves of Turkish immigrants there Imagine what will happen if Turkey is accepted in EU. Turkey will get 12 points from everyone

The whole thing is as corrupt as the Cyprus government. Irrespective of the musical talents (?) of the participants, Cyprus will vote for Greece and vice versa, Sweden will vote for Norway and vice versa, Germany for Austria and vice versa and so on. The same as they always do. The whole thing is a stupid farce.
If it weren't for the fact that it would push my tax bill up, I almost wish Cyprus would win (they'll get a few votes from France, this year). It would demonstrate to the world how Cyprus can organise things, next year!!!

Where's Rule 301, when you really need it.!!
As always, I did not vote for anyone.
95% of Cypriots don't understand what our song is saying either We can only understand the part that says "come on girls" Maybe you speak French Kikapu? I think thats the main language of Switzerland. But why you insist replying to this thread instead of the other one?

Greater numbers spoke German in Austria, but that did not help them against Hitler.
It was Switzerland's "Neutrality" that helped them really.
The fact that Germany was able to pass through Switzerland without having to pay "Bridge Tolls", was also a good reason for not needing to invade the country.
Lets not forget the "secrecy on bank accounts".
