A very happy Birthday,my dear Paphian brother...

I spent a few months in the summer of 81 in the Bordeaux/Medoc region picking grapes...If my memory serves me right I picked some at Chateau Latour as well...You will probably be drinking wine made from grapes I picked...That is what I consider a strange coincidence, dear miltiades...

Light, health and hapiness to you on your birthday and the rest of the year... 8)

I know Polemi very well , also Theletra , Kathikas , Yiolou and all those picturesque villages in the Paphos area.
Will be visiting Birkibrisly's village end of May , the Greek name is Kios , and will go through some of the above villages too.

I have been to the old Theletra a few times. They have fixed the church and some houses are even been renovated but still looks like a ghost town. I also have very good friend from Kathikas and I visit there all the time. Being in the organising committee of the Paphos Classic Car Club I drive around the mountains doing rally routes. I believe I know most of the free Cyprus villages by now. I just like going to the local coffee shops and talk to the old folks about their life in old Cyprus. Must meet up when you come to Cyprus for lunch and a chat and of course the famous Kathikas red wine.

I will take you up on that when in Paphos , end of May , email me your phone number. Theletra is where my father was born. Have visited the new Theletra to see relatives many times.
