could anyone give me some advice on how much it costs to import my car from the uk and how much to register the plates in cyprus

Too much mate.I have looked into it and the cost and amount of hassle is just not worth it.Unless you have a beloved prestige that you cannot part with.
Best bet is sell at home then buy one in cyprus. :(
