The history of Cyprus is fully covered in the RoC education system and begins with 3rd year primary school students who first learn about the ancient civilization of Chirokitia (around 3,500BC) and continue every single year right up to the final year of high school where they cover the more contemporary events that lead up to and include the 1974 Turkish invasion. That’s a total of 10 years that every student spends learning the history of Cyprus.

Your initial gripe was that instead of the history of Cyprus our students were only being taught the history of Greece and Turkey. I informed you of the facts which I receive from my wife who happens to be an expert on the subject by profession.

You now change direction and dig up the source of the material being taught as your new gripe! I must now confess that you bore me shitless.

Cyprus has changed in so many ways over the last 3-4 decades that many Cypriots in the Diaspora, whose only association with Cyprus is the annual Greek Cypriot community party, are so out of touch with their country of origin that their posts can only be described as relics from another era. See you later.

Its not that few. The University of Cyprus is not big and it is very hard to get admitted there. If there is demand from TCs maybe they will open more positions.

Great news for the twenty five people that will get an education after the thousands that will not when the "RoC" does not allow the universities in the north to be recognised institutions.
