Hi I am new here and was wandering if some of you kind souls could offer me some advice.

I am travelling for a 2 week holiday 18th of may from belfast,during my trip my lad and myself are going to Athens for the Euro Cup Final.

Our flights are with aegeian airlines depart 06.00.
we are staying in the Konnos Bay Hotel Apartments.Can anyone give me a rough idea how much that would cost in a taxi??and is there anyway it can be done by public transport.

Also is it possible to walk into Protaras from the apartments.

Any local info on the area we are staying would be much appricated.

There is very little public transport on Cyprus to talk of, and rough cost of a taxi would be about CYP£26 from www.grabthatcab.com

I would not like to walk from Konnos Bay to Protaras. The hill on the way back (to the hotel) would be a killer

Pubdog2,thanks for the link had a wee look,judging by the way the flights shooting up in price I would guess that there will be a few more Liverpool supporters around hopefully I can share taxi with someone else.

I take it you know the area reasonably well?? Is there a few bars/things to do in the area??

Can I get a bus into Protaras and a taxi home??
