This flight allows you to get there a couple of days early to soak up the atmosphere and possibly get a ticket for the big game at a reasonable price from the locals!

Is this a case of black market? I know that the cost of normal tickets to Athens is much less than that!

I think its a case of supply and demand sotos it seems all the airlines are putting up there prices to Athens that weekend .
I heard on the TV here in the UK that Easy Jet were charging £800 from Liverpool - Athens

So how many people are going to Athens for this game?

I think the stadium holds 60,000 Only 15000 tickets have been given to each side for distribution to supporters. (The rest are for corporate hospitality)both sides could fill the stadium twice over. Another point is that all hotels in Athens are charging 4/5 times the usual rates

I can assure everyone that I will not be making a penny from this, I purchased a ticket early for the event which I no longer want. The cost includes a charge by the airline for cost of transfer. If you wish to attend the final travelling from Cyprus and you can find a direct flight still available then you will pay vastly more than this!!

So no black market, don't think i'd make much as a tout!
