not long now till once again i grace the fare town of larnaca..[4 weeks]
the dilema i face is wether to bring the laptop as needs may[work].
is there a good wireless network yet or am i to optomistic
or will the cables have to come to..?

Wireless works fine.

I'm using a laptop and I havn't got any cables.

If you need more techie help than that, don't ask me.

From what I know there is no such wireless network that covers any significant parts of Cyprus. You will need to get ADSL.

I'm guessing that you do have WiFi on your laptop?

If so there are loads of internet cafes that you can use.

Also a lot of hotels now offer WiFi. (you have to pay)

Or just hunt around the bars etc - you will find a 'free' connection!

I can only speak for Limassol, and here are free hotspots to be found almost around every corner.

I think he is not looking for hotspots but a wireless network that he can connect from his home.
