Report from Cyprus

Postby devil » Fri May 04, 2007 10:08 am

This site would be useful if only it were update from time to time. Today is 4 May. The headlines date from 22 to 26 April. The "Latest" News is from 20-22 April.

Does Ms Fenwick believe nothing has happened since? Perhaps I shouldn't need to buy today's Cyprus Weekly if there is such little news.

Maybe she is on vacation. Thats the problems with one man/woman business ;) If you could read Greek then you could get all the news from the websites of the Greek language newspapers ;) How many years are you in Cyprus devil? Shouldn't you be speaking Greek already? :P

I first came to Cyprus in 1952! Yes, 55 years ago! Probably before most of the people on this forum were born. And, yes, I knew Cyprus when Greek- and Turkish-speaking Cypriots shared the same coffee shops and toiled together in the fields. Whether or not I speak Greek (or Turkish) is irrelevant, if I wish to read the news in English, but I want to read news, not past history. What I did like about her site is that it was reasonably impartial, unlike the Greek-language newspapers (or the English-language ones, for that matter).
