lots of sharks in the med. not so many in the eastern med since the aswan damn was built

it stopped the flow of the nile from carrying all the nutrients into the eastern med, hence the barren wasteland that is our sea today. plus, we like to kill everything in sight with our spear-guns and nets.

there was a great white sighted off ladies mile about 20 years ago, big panic. i was living in zakaki at the time and the people went nuts

adriatic sea is a breeding ground for great white sharks. google it and you will get a lot of info. check out the picture of the great white caught off italy a few years ago.

Actually, if there are dolphins and tuna, then there is prey for sharks...and there's plenty in the Med, if I'm not mistaken.

I don't know for certain but logic says if here is plenty prey then here should be plenty predators

seen blue sharks and dogfish myself

touched a 2 metre blue once as it swam under my dad's boat

Lotsa great whites in Australia and Tigersharks and Bull sharks etc etc as well as crocs that will kill you,jellyfish that will kill you, octopus that will kill you, shellfish that will kill you, fish that will kill you... crikey everything kills you and thats not including the land based ones (snakes, spiders etc) where guess what..every thing kills you there too lol

best way to fight off an attacking white pointer is the hit it with a blunt object...where do you get a blunt object when you are swimming...well using the stump of your arm or leg after the shark has bitten the rest off usually does the trick!!!

Great whites....They're not so tough. I swam with them last year in South Africa near the famous Shark Alley. One took bait right in front of my face.






I was in a cage though....And the sea sickness..........Never felt so ill in my life. Rough water going up and down and around and around and up and down and.......................................................
