Greek London property agents

Greek London property agents marketing land in northern Cyprus 270407

In an exclusive investigation by the London Greek News team into the marketing and selling of property from northern Cyprus several well known property agents owned by or managed by Greeks are actively selling such properties. Our investigation into the active marketing of these properties saw one of our under cover journalists visit one of the agents located in Southgate north London and pretend to be an Irish investor interested in purchasing land or substantial sea fronted properties in northern Cyprus. The agent who at this point can only be named as Michael for legal reasons proceeded to show brochures and maps of properties in Kyrenia, Lapitho and areas of Morphou The LGN buyer then proceeded to ask about the issue of ownership and if these properties were linked to Greek Cypriots or Turkish Cypriots. The response was "...we simply market them we do not ask questions as far as we know the properties are legally owned by the vendor". In this new twist to the vexed property ownership issue in the occupied territories of northern Cyprus the move by unscrupoulous Greek property agents to sell their heritage for a profit should be condemned and boycotts of these companies should take place. The details of the property agent will be disclosed following clearance from the LGN legal team.

Excellent post Paaul12

I'm glad you brought this to the forums attention

We all know that the buying of illegal properties in the north is wrong and I'm sure that this is why you made this posting and like you say in your posting these people should be condemed and boycotted

Please can you give us the link where you got this imformation so we can avoid these unscrupulous dealers

Yes I thought it was an “excellent” post!

In particular, I like the bit when the agent states:

The response was "...we simply market them we do not ask questions as far as we know the properties are legally owned by the vendor

Good to see that you agree that the selling of GC properties in the north is illegal and should be condenmed paul. Now will you go and turn youself in and admit your wrongdoings? :?

Obviously your mind is seriously diluted ken. The English court did not rule that the buying of GC properties is legal. The court just ruled that for some technicalities it could not enforce the decision of the RoC Court for the selling of the Orams family property in the UK.

I suggest you watch out for news regarding the outcome of the appeal of the GC refugee.

Now here’s an interesting character… tell us your story Ken.

What led an otherwise normal fellow like you seek sanctuary in an illegal Turkish military base?

I in turn would like to also thank Paul for highlighting this criminal behaviour of selling stolen Greek Cypriot owned properties. I wish there were more like you Pauul.

scum of the earth that ken is, 'laugh out loud' about being thrown out of your own home by marauding pirates...scum, he should go crawl back under the rock he came from and learn how to spell....and await repatriation to his mother. :P

don't think we should talk to Ken like that. Judging by his grammar and choice of words he is obviously a down syndrome child. He should not be mocked but helped and treated like any other child.

DOn't you worry Ken...Of course its great there...they let you out every friday for a nice stroll in the garden.
