Hi All,

My family and I are looking at returning to the UK after our wonderful time here in Cyprus. Has any one on here gone through this before that may help, we are looking at shipping some stuff(furniture) back so am trying to get prices on a 20ft container.

Can anyone give me an idea what i should be looking at paying?

I am not sure about a 'sinking ship', the number of incomers continues to exceed the number leaving.

I wonder what percentage of 'immigrants' from the UK leave again within, say, 5 years. Judging from stuff I see for sale, it must be quite high. Paradise lost?

It's also surprising how many Brits come to Cyprus without doing enough research and end up returning very bitter and quite often broke.

One guy I spoke to stated that he wouldn't come back to Cyprus even for a holiday as he hated the place so much.

I'm not saying that this appies to you sirox101 but it does seem to be a common happening recently.

Bill -- on my way to Cyprus very soon -- at last
