Who's stereotyping now? I resent that comment. Also, can you point to me anything that f_c has said that is particularly undemocratic? Or me as a TC? I see f_c's views as leftist, that doesn't mean they are undemocratic. If you see all left views as undemocratic perhaps you should familiarise yourself with polls of the 50s, 60s and early 70s where communism was very popular among all cypriots both greek and turkish.

You can say that Greek Cypriots dont want union with Greece until you are blue in the face (no intended pun) but they wont listen. They want to use the so called desire for Enosis as another excuse to steal and hold the north of Cyprus to ransom.

mem101, bringing up the 50s, 60's, and early 70's is just horseshit to keep the TRNC going. Your still trying to live the past so be it, most of us moved ahead, but thats the only excuse left that you dont want to give in to or you know what has to be done. I know you dont care if your kids are stuck in an environment that isn't going anywhere, question is, is whos worse for your kids futures GC present mentalities or TC present mentalities?

Enosis is dead, always will be. Now we have something much better than enosis and taksim and thats the EU, so what does enosis have to do with today? Your aspiring to join the EU which is another form of taksim, enosis combined with many more countries, so whats there to fear. The excuses are dried out man. The next step is to reap the benefits full time instead of part time. The hardest hump to go over though is having to live with people other than Turks. You'll have to figure that one out on your own though because I never lived with just one breed of people, so I dont know what its like for that transformation. Good Luck

What!? Did you read anything other than the numbers 50s, 60s and 70s in my post? Did I say anything about enosis or taksim? I'm not stuck in the past at all, did I say anything about the TRNC? I was merely countering your unfounded stereotypical view that TCs are "undemocratic."

You are the only one who has mentioned the TRNC here. If you want to know my views on how Cyprus should evolve from here perhaps you should read some of my posts in other threads or just ask me before you start making ambitious assumptions.

Why have you called yourself growuptcs? The more of your posts I read the more I realise that you have a very low opinion of TCs and that you are just here to stir pointless arguments.

So you got your chance to make your money and be a pheasant with money. Your just in Cyprus and they're in London. Why knock them, if you live good in Cyprus like your saying with your 800,000 pound home overlooking the sea and your slk. Question is did you earn it or sell off GC property to get what you have today? If you earned it yourself I dont think you would be hating on anybody.

so far everything you have said about me has been untrue ...................one i dont need to impress anyone anywhere in the world, two i did not sell greek prperty to make my money that is slander in itself . thidly i do live in a house i mentioned and i drive the car i said i drive puma and slk...............but these are meterial things we are speaking about human spirit here..........and i have no couse to lie regarding my personal experiance knowing all these people i speak about...................and when i say to you they devide us if you dont believe me then thats up to you....................................also you could never make me into a turk or a greek your words do not effect my state of mind or my harmony within me i love all people of cyprus be it greek speaking or turkish speakings..................... we are cypriots.................... but nfortunatly most of them are idiots and i say that with greatest respect

i have maybe hundreds of post in here and you never hear me mentioning enosis i concider eoka and tmt as traitors to cyprus people and i say this openly simple as that
