The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

Postby Sahin Turk » Sun Apr 29, 2007 7:20 am

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is a Turkish state home to the Turks of Cyprus. It appears that some people in this forum are living in a dream world. We Turks of Cyprus have our own state and will continue to live under Turkish sovereignty.

You can live with reality or in an imaginary world ... you can even come visit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus ... after all, we Turks are very hospital people and don't discriminate.

I agree wholeheartedly that the T/Cs are hospitable and extremely well educated being part of a nation , Cyprus , where literacy rate is listed in the worlds literacy rates as number 58 where the occupying power that you want to be part of is at number 91 with some 10 million plus illiterates jostling to join you in your "nation" and eradicate for ever the Turkish Cypriot identity.
However who is living in a dream world. A "NATION" that is NOT recognised by any any international organization and a "nation" that the International bodies refer to as a part of Cyprus under Turkish occupation.
You can live in reality , open your eyes , you have a p/c do a little research and you will see that the creation of the "TRNC" is dependent wholly on the goodwill of the invader. No nation on earth recognises this "nation "

the PRC wasn't recognised for approximately 40 years, yet it is one of the world's most formidable countries and has a permanent seat on the UN's security council.

We have a fully functioning state in the north and our security is guaranteed by our motherland. After all, Turkey had a constitutional right to intervene in order stop the annexation of our island by expansionist / imperialist Greece.

Recognition is only a matter of time. Anyone who has been to the TRNC knows it exists. After all, cannot find any 'ROC' authorities in the TRNC because it is a different country with a separate sovereign.

Technically, we are a part of the Turkish nation, we simply have a separate state. Nobody would rationally deny the existence of either entity.

Here we go another VP . " ROC" unrecognised , non existent in the eyes of the International community , a legal system that has no extradition legal obligations with any nation on earth , a nation that does not have either its own currency or its own direct flights from anywhere apart from Greece !!!!
What the hell do they teach you , that the ROC does not exist ? Wake up before your motherland swallows you up. And watch out , 4 women are killed in your motherland every week for getting pregnant or dressing provocatively , your motherland that will join Europe sooner or later and will relinquish her military commitments in Cyprus , like it or not.

CYPRUS FOR THE CYPRIOTS !!

Who is trying provoke? Are we drawing hasty conclusions already?

Can you then entertain me and define where this international community exists? Where can we find? Is there such a thing in international politics? While you're at it, also give me a definition of what the term 'Cypriot' is?

As for my Motherland and the Turkish military, it has a constitutional right under the original ROC and the TRNC to be present in Cyprus ... I'm confident our troops will be in the TRNC as long as Cyprus has its Turkish population.
