NAME ONE LEADER IN THE PAST HUNDRED YEARS

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby denizaksulu » Wed May 16, 2007 12:36 pm

Yes DA and GR have had the pleasure of being electronically familiar with each other for exactly a year. The common ground they have was the love for Cyprus. This brought them together over easter and believe it or not they did have a great time. Sorry I got my tenses wrong. Likewise if every TC and every GC met and became friends would the Cyprus Enigma be solved. Perhaps not. There are more GC's than TCs. With the GC birth rate falling and the TC population increasing (alas with the settlers) will we achieve this peace? Would uncle Tasos and uncle Talat like to picnic together up the Trodos mountains? Even they could enjoy it.

I was fine, as I have a strong and large stomach. I attributed (perhaps mistakenly) my friends problem to something he ingested. If I am wrong what was it GR? I am still bewildered. I have thought of nothing else since our trip. :( So have I been uninvited for summer? :( :( :(

No, no, no, no, I forgive you for that powdery mix you blew in my face just prior to leaving containing all them rare strains of TRNC viruses Deniz... I am better now, you can stop feeling guilty so when are you coming again? :)

Good luck with the search...It would be a miracle if it is still there and you find it...circa 1961-62  8)

Lived in Perth during 1987...2002. There's no place like home Bir I assure you; I'm just sorry I didn't come back earlier. :(

August maybe! It depends on a few jobs I have to do. That white powdery stuff was the powdered sugar from the Turkish, sorry Cyprus Delight. I am glad you are ok. I can tell that from the volume of your messages. Its like a Marathon. How on earth do you keep up with your work? When you introduced me to the cyprus forum you failed to give me a "health warning" saying Beware Cyprus-Online is ADDICTIVE. Addictive but nice.

You have no idea how many ADSL wireless networks have no password protection in Nicosia Deniz... Laptops are pretty neat. :)

Good for you,guys...
I am assuming here as both of you could be female for all I know...
But you are right DA.If people could get together on a human level and shed their fear and prejudices of each other,it would go a long way to solve the problem...I am starting to realise that there is not one politician in Cyprus capable of going anywhere near solving this problem...It goes against their interests and the interests of their masters...Only people power will solve Cyprob, but that is nowhere to be seen either...
I hope to join you guys/gals one day on a picnic in Trodos mountains.GR might've found my tree by then too...

Uh oh... a bandwidth thief

Everyone in the Nicosia metro is a bandwidth thief but most of them unknowingly!

Just to give you an idea a customer was complaining that he use to be able to access the internet in the past but lately he couldn't so I went over to investigate. I found an old Cyta modem there with the wireless feature disabled and only accessible via the modem's BIOS. I said to him "you never had a wireless network here!" and he goes "but I've been on the net wireless lots of times before"! I smiled and informed him that he was pinching someone else's bandwidth and he felt embarrassed so I explained how everyone is pinching bandwidth off everyone else and they don't even know it!. Nicosia is a big bandwidth brothel! :)

One flew over the cookoo's nest, hey mate???
If I can find a place i can call "home" again,I will come back too,GR...
It is a bit trickier for TCs as you can imagine...Just look at the Kikapu's time in Cyprus thread...
