and we can add more names here depending on our perception and beliefs..............................but tha fact remains living in the 21century we are exploring space we openly talking about planets thats have been discovered, that have the right conditions that will support life..............and yet we cannot solve the problems we have on earth as people.............who ever has power they abuse it.............and this is a fact be it a country be it a single person...................we as human beings cannot find solutions to live as one earth as one people...................we have wars, starvetions.poverty, and so it goes on ...............if the people of the world. elect goverments to make our lives better then why is the world we live getting worse..........we face a new threat global warming. we have countrys developing nuclear weapons........... we disgard everything sacared regarding the human spirit to live in harmony. people put more importance on their nations their flags and their rilligions then they do towards the human race......................and yet the three major rilligians are besicaly the same christianity.islam.and judism.........................childran of abraham are jews and arabs and yet they are killing each other daily........... and yet when i make a statement like us cypriots speak turkish and greek im being hounded. they stamp their rights and it is their rights as human beings to voice their voice that they are turkish and greek..................so when we look at the whole picture as human beings how important is this....................... as a human being you personaly as a person know what suffering is. and you know what love is....... as a person we look at the bigger picture in the world and and we can see somany unjust things in the world..............................................the human mind is soo powerful that if the whole world thought of love and harmony for a single year and and they focused their energy towards solving povery starvetion and wars...........................and if we thought this for a whole year collectively in the world everyday................ end of the year we would see changes that will mezmerise us. thats how powerful the human mind is.....................but unfortunatly we as human beings cannot think collectively as one to achieve better things for generations to come on this planet......................so i guess the human race still have several thousand years to go before getting to this evelutionary state................................................

Just thought I'd react with my opinion before any natural born Cypriots read what you've put.

Kind of opening yourself up to flak, aren't you?

Ataturk – yup, I'd go along with you on that one. Kucuk – surely was just playing the hand he'd been dealt. But Denktas???

This raises a serious question: what is the general opinion of Denktas on the forum – both from GC's and TC's.

Just to make my opinion abundantly clear: he was a willing puppet of an illegal regime and abused his position to the continued detriment of his fellow countrymen. Denktas' legacy was turning the Cyprus problem into the status quo. In my opinion he was the worst kind of traitor and only ever self-serving. Four five year terms? What other democratically elected leader has ever served that long without being a tyrant?

Sahin Turk – are you a Turkish Cypriot or a pure Turk? Do you live on the island? How did you come to this conclusion re Denktash?

if you want to talk about numbers then heres something for you to think about....................................every 110 years every living person on this planet and animals a like die out...................soo every living person in the world today will be dead in 110 years time and as time goes on new generations are diluted blood becomes mixed do to travel occupation love and so forth.....................sooo what number of generations of cypriots are in cyprus now ?????????????????????????????????????
