while doing research into cyprus............i called up both the embassies in london and pretending to be a person from the other side.................to the cyprus turkish embassy i told them i was a greek cypriot and i wanted to live in the north would i have to do military service..............the reply was noooooooooooooooooooooo you can came and stay long as you want. only if i became a citizen of the soo called republic of norther cyprus i then i would be obliged to do military service.........................i said look im a cypriot im already a citizen you want me to become a citizen again....................anyway that was the conversation with turkish north embassy......................then i rang the soo called roc embassy and i pretended to be a turkkish cypriot and i ask would i need to join the army if i came to stay in the south of the island permenently............. their reply was no............i said why not im a cypriot.............they said to me im a turkish cypriots so on those ground im not eligable to serve.......................................................................btw i dont recognise either of these embassies as i have said before they practice devide and rule not only them but the whole structure of turkish speaking and greek speaking cypriot establishment....................not only hd britain turkey and greece has made us turks and greeks our own people have made us greeks and turks..................... and you cypriots my people attack me for highlighting such things in this forum

Probably because you are starting to do everyones head in, yes Cyprus has problems with the north south devide, and thats bad enough, without you rubbing everyones nose in it and getting on your soap box every 5 minutes.
Look its a beautiful island, do you have to be so bitter there??

Get a life and start living it instead of attacking an issue that you alone cannot do anything about

one of the reason why nothing gets doen about cyprus is very simple people on the island are quite happy as things are

So get into the correct political party and actually DO somthing about it properly instead of spouting off on here every 5 mins and getting absolutley noware

what political party is there in cyprus that turkey or greece dont control and if there is an independent party that stands alone they have no chance..................... you want me to get involved in a polical party and i have to listen to turkey or greece telling us what to do cos thats the situation..................the sooo called leaders in ctyprus now dont represent cypriots they are the mouth peace of turkey and greece....................

You are suggesting that people of Cyprus take a DNA test and they would be shocked??, you however call yourself a Cypriot, what makes you exempt from all this and makes you better than the rest??, i certainly hope for your sake that you don't take a test as you would then be lumped in with the rest of the cypriots that live there.
I was born in Scotland, however if i took a DNA test i would prob find that im not truly Scottish, i do not have a problem with this, as its what is in the heart that trully matters, not what you are made of, thats the true mark of a man.
Stop bleating like a child, grow up and either do somthing about the situation instead of moaning, ie put up or shut up
