I see TC's nearly everyday in my line of work....they intermingle, come and go, go about their business without incident, as if they NEVER left in the first place.
There's a natural harmony about them that's quite relaxing, and its difficult to tell them apart from the GC's.
Alot of them speak fluent Greek.

At that time, I had been away from Cyprus for 43 years with the memories of 1963 still fresh in my mind, being taken away as prisoners at gunpoint by the GCs and kept for a week. On top of which, all the crap fed by the NeoPartitionists on the forum that I read a whole year before going to Cyprus, all fed into being paranoid. But that paranoia lasted only a day or two as I saw it for myself, that what the NeoPartitionist preached here on the forum was not the reality. Going to the school building where we were kept as prisoners for a week was also very helpful to face some of the past bad experiences. You had to have gone through the whole experience as a child first and then as an adult 43 years later to really have some understanding what goes through ones mind under those situations. Deniz understands.

By the way, since someone brought this thread back to life and if any new CF members want to read the full story of "Kikapu's time in Cyprus...The Report" without all the 72 pages of comments made by other CF members, then use this link to get just "The Report".!
