nice area and you have epping forest at your door its beautiful place epping forest i know the area well never lived there though.

It is good to be near a large forest FC but it is not the prettiest in the UK. When we visit our friends in Summerset, then you really sea the beauty of the country. Essex is too flat in comparison.

if i had to pick places in the uk for natural beauty then i would have to say..................wales breacon beacons are and elan valley..........or lake district keswick area or scotland the locks.....................

Believe it or not I have not gone further north than Leads in all the years I have been living here. I intend to correct that now my sons are getting older and I have no doubt that you are right. I have been to Whales though and although the landscape is wonderful the quality of light is not as good as in the south. The first time I went there it never really stopped raining for four days. The second time, which was recently, we had glorious whether although it was cold, and it still lacked that clean bright sunshine that you seem to get in Cornwall and Devon.

i have to agree with the with you about the weather but its the same sort of light in lake district and in scotland the locks but if you get a sunny day its amazing place to be wales, lake district and.the locks
