Kikapu is back from visiting Cyprus........

Postby Kikapu » Fri Apr 27, 2007 7:46 pm

Well, what can I say of my trip back to my Birth Country of Cyprus, after being absent for 43 years.?

Actually plenty.

I'll write all of my experiences of being there, soon.

It was an very eventful and an eye-opener experience for me.

I'll be happy to answer all of your questions, if you have any, specially from the TC members.

Due to circumstances, I did not go to the "TRNC", so that you all know it, up front.

I'm intrigued Kikapu, what was an eye-opener? What was your experiences of GCs? How did they treat you?

No, it means the forum will once again be interesting  he he he....

We need to recruit more nationalists from both sides. That way we could have a lot more fun without even typing

They couldn't tell the difference, until I told them that I did not speak Greek and that I was a Turkish Cypriot. Then I told them my life story, which they were happy to hear, and treated me as another Cypriot, with respect.

Might as well start as we mean to go on........

Did not visit the north and has made up his mind already. How can you tell what a particular cake tastes like if all you do is stand outside the shop with your nose pressed up against the glass. Armchair explorer would be an apt term I think.
