Can anyone advise some good places to go out in Nicosia on Friday and Saturday nights.

Looking for a pub / club

Not full of kids

Not gay

Good music or live band

More info because it all depends. Is this for a couple or crowd? What's the age group? What's the ethnic background?

Just for me as I am on my own here , I am 42 but a young 42 if you know what I mean (but not 18 year olds) sorta 30s type place. I am an Australian (causican) so similar to what an English person might like.

You want live music...pub...club...food with music...what kind of places are you looking for...and what kind of music? Most of the places with live music and more 42 young people play Greek music...but there couple of pubs with English music as well!

All right buddy... I gather you wanna pick up women right? :)

Over 30's pick up joint if you're after GC women is "Maple Leaf".

Over 30's pick up joint if you're after UK women is "Finbars".

Over 30's pick up joint if you're after a weird mix of foreign women is "Shamrock".

Oh by the way... go for the Miami Vice look... Women love that in the warmer regions of the planet! :D
