This morning I went to the local recyling bins to deposit the empty wine bottle and was horrified to find the glass bin absolutely full of glass microscope slides complete with blood samples. Surely there is some law regarding the disposal of clinical waste. I often send my kids over to these bins to drop things in but will be rethinking this now.

Does anyone know who I would contact to make a complaint about this in Limassol.
It is bad enough that people are still putting household waste in these bins but this is madness.
I know one old cypriot lady regularly rakes through these bins recycling things her own way before they are removed by the official recyclers.

Contact the newspapers and TV stations. They will revel in this story.
